This event was held on 20th September 2024 in New York. It brought together African political leaders, policy makers, civil society representatives, experts and institutional partners, together with external stakeholders, to reflect on the developmental and governance issues in actualizing the Africa We Want.

The discussions emphasized the importance of addressing current and emerging global governance challenges, and of African-led solutions to governance challenges as well as the critical importance of centering youth in governance and empowering them for sustainable futures.
