From 10 to 16 July 2026, African Youth Panelists gathered in Ethiopia for an immersive foundational training designed to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to transition into dignified and sustainable work.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in hands-on learning, collaborative problem-solving, and mentorship sessions aimed at strengthening their leadership capacities and enhancing their livelihood opportunities. The training also provided a unique space for young people from across Africa to exchange experiences, build networks, and co-create innovative solutions to challenges facing their communities.
By investing in youth leadership and practical skills development, the African Youth Panel is helping to empower a new generation of changemakers committed to driving positive transformation across the continent.
