Muslim and Christian clerics from six East African countries issued a communiqué earlier this month reiterating their resolve to “remain in unity and work with each other as partners in addressing our regional religious, social, economic and political challenges.”
TrustAfrica is part of a broad-based initiative designed to establish an electronic clearinghouse for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices throughout Africa and to support capacity building and partnerships among African organizations. Our partners in this effort are the Open Society Initiative, UNESCO, IDRC, the Panos Institute, and the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA).
