TrustAfrica Seeks to Foster Genuine and Inclusive Sustainability in the Tea Value Chain in Africa Venue Blantyre, Malawi
TrustAfrica, in partnership with Solidaridad, will convene a regional multistakeholder platform on October 27th 2022 in Blantyre, Malawi, to deliberate on inclusive policies that will help to promote sustainability in the tea value chain in Africa.
The event will bring together Tea sector actors and other important stakeholders to discuss the factors affecting market access in the tea value chain while galvanising alternatives towards greater efficiency in the sector.
It is expected that the workshop will provide concrete suggestions that will help to influence conducive policy and regulatory environments with positive impact on industry practice that promotes fair value distribution, decent work and attainment of fair living wage. The MSP will also lead to the strengthening of a community of practice for cross learning and sharing of knowledge amongst actors within the Tea value chain.
