Public prosecutor vs. Hissène Habré: HEARING REPORT No. 43 OF NOVEMBER 19, 2015
As part of proceedings on the repression of political opponents, today’s hearing was the continuation
of the interrogation of Souleymane Guengueng, Chairman of the first association of the Hissene
Habré regime’s victims. This was followed by the hearing of Ginette Ngarbaye who was arrested
when she was 4 month pregnant. She gave birth during her detention. The Court then heard witness
Maibe Komandje Gabin who was suspected of being Gukuni Wedeye’s spy. He was arrested in Pala
on his way back from the Central African Republic where he was pursuing higher education studies.
