October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the 2024 theme, “Empowering Women, Ensuring Access,” highlights the critical need to bridge the gap between awareness and access to essential healthcare services.
Breast cancer remains one of the leading causes of death among women in Africa, and too many women continue to face barriers in receiving timely diagnoses and treatment. At TrustAfrica, we believe that every woman deserves a fighting chance no matter where she lives. Our commitment to equitable development drives us to address the healthcare inequalities that leave too many women vulnerable. Through advocacy for stronger health systems and support for grassroots organizations, we work to ensure that women across the continent have access to the information and services they need.
