This Tuesday hearing, like the hearing held on Monday, November 16, focused on the repression
of political opponents and, more precisely, on acts of torture and inhumane acts perpetrated against
alleged opponents. The witness, LAKOUBOU Mbainassem, was before the Court to complete his
interrogation by various parties to the trial. The second witness, Dr. Nahor NGAWARA, also stood
before the Court, unlike the third witness who was not able to complete his hearing because of his
very confused statements. The first two witnesses spoke about certain pamphlets and repression
perpetrated in relation to those pamphlets. Dr. NGAWARA also talked about the circumstances of
the death of Idriss MISKINE.
