The Public Prosecution versus Hisséne HABRE: SUMMARY OF THE THIRTY-FOURTH HEARING HELD ON 28 OCTOBER 2015
The testimony of Mr. Moutede Djim Hyangar, who took the stand today, remained within the
context of reprisals against civilian populations in the south of Chad, particularly in the district of
Bodo in 1985. Mr. Moutede, who was a witness and not a victim, testified before the court about
the different massacres he had knowledge of at the time. He maintained that the term ‘black
September’ did not refer to a month but to a period.
