In line with TrustAfrica’s strategic plan for 2020-2024, themed: Shaping the Future We Want for Africa, we are delighted to announce the launch of the TrustAfrica Shaping the Future – Africa Day Lecture Series. This new lecture series aims to showcase independent and audacious thinking on some of the most pressing socio-economic and political challenges facing Africa and the world. The lecture series invites progressive and transformative thinkers from Africa and the Global South to help illuminate some of the most complex questions facing the continent and the world today and contribute to building a knowledge base for informed action.

It is our pleasure to announce that the first lecture of the series which will launch tomorrow 25 May 2022 will be delivered by the illustrious Professor Adam Habib, Director of SOAS University of London as he speaks about “Reimagining Higher Education to Address Global Challenges”.
