Ibrahim Sorie Tunkara is a finance professional with over ten years of progressive experience in international development finance. As Accountant at TrustAfrica, Ibrahim oversees the organisation’s multi-donor grant portfolio, manages consolidated financial reporting across TrustAfrica’s offices, and ensures compliance with the financial requirements of institutional donors.

Prior to joining TrustAfrica, Ibrahim held finance roles at Cabinet J&T Associés, Ecobank Senegal, Orange Senegal, and Cabinet EDE International. He contributed to a Global Fund partnership with the Senegalese Ministry of Health, supporting financial capacity strengthening for health service providers working on HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria programmes in Senegal.

Ibrahim holds an MBA in Project Management from ISM Dakar and is fluent in English, French, and three African languages.
