Rachel Gyabaah

Project Officer

Rachel is a multidisciplinary development practitioner with demonstrated history of high-quality program delivery within the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and private sector(s). Rachel has in-depth experience working on projects funded by donors such as USAID, GIZ, UNICEF, FCDO, SECO, European Commission, Oxfam, Ford Foundation and Global Affairs Canada.

She has an, MA in Globalization and Development from the University of Sussex, UK, and certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship from Dartmouth College, USA. She is experienced in providing technical and managerial support to government agencies at all levels, private sector, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in developing strategies, programmes and implementation of projects. She has worked extensively in the area of Political Economic Policy Management, Public financial Management, Social Accountability, Research and Advocacy as well as Social Protection. She served as the convener for the CSO platform on SDG 10 (Inequality) Ghana for 3 years.

Rachel is a Mandela Washington Fellow and the African Civic Engagement Academy. In her free time she writes for newspaper publications on climate change and political economic issues.
