TrustAfrica has paid glowing tribute to Dr Blade Nzimande,  the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology of South Africa, on Friday 21 October 2022. TrustAfrica honoured him with a symbolic gift in recognition of his immense contribution to the African development project. Dr Nzimande is a great Pan-Africanist who has dedicated his whole life to his country and the African continent. He was in Dakar, Senegal, as part of PanAfrika – the Postgraduate University for Policy Studies in Africa, an initiative of SAPES TRUST. He participated in a two-days Consultative and Planning Meeting, held in Dakar, 20-21 October 2022, with TrustAfrica, Sapes Trust, CODESRIA and the Higher Education Ministry of South Africa as the coorganizers.

At TrustAfrica, we remain committed to educational development in Africa and this features prominently in our Strategic Plan. We recognise the need to remain focused on building a world-class institution that is rooted in, and sustained by African philanthropy as well as global philanthropic resources.
