Workshop on the Role of Philanthropy in Africa

In connection with our initiative on the State of Philanthropy in Africa, we co-hosted a conference on “Funding Impact: Partnerships, Networks and Collaborations” with the African Grantmakers’ Affinity Group, which was holding its annual retreat. The conference and retreat drew more than 100 participants and included several field visits, including one to community foundations in Greater Rustenburg.
